A therapeutic massage designed to support post-pregnancy recovery, pelvic tension relief . This treatment focuses on the external pelvic region, incorporating gentle, targeted techniques to help restore balance and ease in the lower body.

This is an external-only treatment, fully within the scope of practice for Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in Ontario. 

About This Treatment 

The Pelvic Floor Support Massage is a focused, external therapeutic treatment that addresses the muscles, fascia, and structural imbalances surrounding the pelvic region. 

This includes the hips, abdomen, lower back, inner thighs, diaphragm, and rib cage – all of which influence pelvic floor function and recovery. 

It is ideal for clients:
  • Recovering from childbirth 
  • Experiencing pelvic tension, cramping, or bloating 
  • Navigating PMS, perimenopause, or menstrual pain 
  • Holding emotional or postural patterns in the lower body

  • Lower back & sacrum 
  • Hips & glutes 
  • Inner thighs & adductors 
  • Lower belly & abdomen (gentle fascia-focused touch) 
  • Rib cage & diaphragm 
  • Neck & jaw (to support vagal nerve and pelvic connection)

Internal pelvic floor treatment is not within RMT scope. For clients with incontinence, prolapse, or internal muscle dysfunction, referral to a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist is recommended.
