Massage Therapy During Chemotherapy

Registered Massage Therapy | Insurance receipt provided

A gentle, medically supported treatment for those undergoing cancer care

Massage therapy during chemotherapy is offered only with written medical consent and is tailored with great care and respect. Sessions use light, non-circulatory touch, shortened duration if needed, and a focus on safety, comfort, and emotional steadiness. Areas affected by treatment, surgery, or radiation are avoided entirely or adapted based on individual needs.

For many women, the period surrounding chemotherapy brings profound uncertainty: waiting for results, adjusting to physical changes, navigating exhaustion, and holding the emotional weight of family concern. Amidst these layers, massage can offer a quiet place — a moment of serenity, a pause — where you can allow your mind to calm and focus in the present moment.

With consent from your oncologist, this session becomes a small ceremony of care — a time to breathe, to soften, and to be held in presence.

The focus is on relaxation, grounding, and reconnection — offering the body a gentle invitation to rest, and the mind a break from the cycle of worry. Each session is customized based on your treatment stage, energy levels, and medical circumstances.
